Academy Award winner Adrien Brody set to star in and co-produce Corsan feature film EXPIRATION

CORSAN FEATURE FILM “EXPIRATION”

Academy Award winner Adrien Brody has been set to star in and co-produce, via his Fable House Production company, the Corsan feature film Expiration, it was announced today by Corsan CEO and the film’s producer, Paul Breuls.
The international action/mystery/thriller was written by Brian Tucker. Corsan World Sales is handling International distribution and will be selling the film at the Toronto International Film Festival. Paradigm will handle domestic rights. The film will begin production in March of 2016 in Europe.
Expiration is a fast-paced action thriller detailing a day in the life of Bobby (Adrien Brody), a former tough rogue CIA agent, who upon waking up in a hospital bed after a failed hit, one last job away from finally finishing with this lifestyle, finds out he has been poisoned.
Damaged, confused, and with an expiration date, Bobby comes to the conclusion that he was the real target all along and goes on an action-packed, nonstop mission to retrace his last 24 hours. With only one day left to live, Bobby must find out who his murderer is and see the woman he loves one last time. The clock is ticking and our hero is dying.
Brody has had a standout year, earning Emmy and SAG nominations for his portrayal of Harry Houdini in History Channel miniseries Houdini. He starred in and produced Dragon Bladewhich opened number 1 in China in February, grossing $72 million its first week and over $120 million in its first month. Brody will next star in Septembers of Shiraz which premieres at this year’s Toronto Film Festival; Manhattan Love Story, a romantic comedy he co-wrote, in addition to co-producing with Chinese producer/financiers Hero Films; and he recently wrapped Corsan’s period piece Emperor produced by Paul Breuls. With Paul Haggis’ Third Person and Lee Tamahori’s Emperor, Expiration will be the third time Brody, Corsan and Paul Breuls have teamed up.
